Bayer’s 2013 Annual Report indicates the healthcare giant is making headway in Yaz settlement negotiations with plaintiffs alleging blood clot injuries and gallbladder disease. According to Bloomberg News, sources close to the litigation say that drug giant Merck has agreed to a $100 million birth control lawsuit settlement to resolve thousands of claims regarding its NuvaRing device.
